Terms of Service
Last updated 7 October 2026
These terms cover your use of Proseport, the Markdown editor for macOS, and purchases of Proseport Pro. Proseport is made by STZ Developer (“we”, “us”). By downloading, using or buying Proseport you agree to these terms.
Purchases and our reseller
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase. Checkout shows STZ Developer, and your card statement shows PADDLE.NET* STZDEVELO.
Free use and trial
Proseport's free features may be used at no cost for as long as you like. Every Pro feature is available free for 14 days from first launch. After the trial, Pro features require a Proseport Pro license.
Your license
- Proseport Pro is a one-time purchase. It gives the purchaser a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Proseport Pro on Macs they own or control.
- The license includes updates to Proseport version 1. A future major version may be offered as a separate purchase.
- You may not share your license key publicly, resell it, or try to bypass the license check.
- A refunded or charged-back purchase ends the license, and Pro features lock again.
Your documents
Your documents stay on your Mac and remain yours. When you publish or export to a service such as Google Docs, Notion, Confluence, SharePoint, Dropbox, OneDrive, Box or Google Drive, Proseport sends the document directly to that service using your account, under that service's own terms.
No warranty
Proseport is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Keep backups of important documents. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Proseport is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data or profits.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continued use after a change means you accept it.
