Find the exports
Click Export on the toolbar, or open the File menu. PDF, HTML, plain text and print are free; Word, EPUB and the publishing options are Pro.
PDF
⌥⌘P saves a paginated PDF that matches the preview, including math, diagrams and images.
Word (.docx)
Export ▸ Word (.docx)… makes a real Word document with headings, tables, images, code and lists, ready to edit or track changes in Word.
EPUB
Export ▸ EPUB (e-book)… splits the document into chapters at its top headings, adds a table of contents and a cover, and opens in Apple Books or any e-reader.
HTML and plain text
⇧⌘E saves a standalone web page; ⌥⌘T saves plain text. ⌘P prints the rendered document.
